What Is Epitalon?

Molecular Profile

Epitalon (also called Epithalone) is a synthetic tetrapeptide — Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly — consisting of just four amino acids. It is the synthetic version of epithalamin, a peptide naturally produced by the pineal gland.

Originally discovered by Russian biogerontologist Dr. Vladimir Khavinson, Epitalon has been studied for its potential role in telomerase activation and pineal gland regulation.
